The common Suffering, that is the catalyst for evening beginning to investigate meditation.
I don’t want to pay attention to how bad my feelings are.
No Practice in which we can transcend our humanness.
Suffering and joy are intertwined.
When you can recognize your suffering and not push it way…
Gladden the mind: Remember all of the good deeds you’ve done and remember those that have done good deeds for you.
There is nothing wrong with me or you, we just need to put our attention in other places too.
Suffering is human, but the negative self-talk can be universal.
Mindfulness can help us quiet the negative self-talk. It doesn’t go away completely but it softens.
It is great wisdom to wish yourself well and to offer it to others
Equalizing self and others.
In order to truly wish you well, I have to wish others well too.
Mindfulness and grief
Joy and sadness and sorrow can all be present in grief.
