Sought after photographer up and down the east coast
Our businesses have grown alongside each other
Growing businesses and what’s helped us get to where we are in our businesses
People who want to be in business will sit down and expect others to be as invested in them as they are.
Pursues aggressive growth in business.
Marketing: Understanding what I have to bring to the table and need to market it correctly
Marketing to a bride who wouldn’t micro-manage.
The 2020 pivot
Took 2020 to refine everything.
Having to step back and think about what you’re doing and why you’re doing it.
Purpose was so refined and so emphasized.
I get the eye roll when I say we have to start with the “Why”  You have to tell me what you’re doing and why you’re doing it.  You have to dig into the why and be connected to it and if you don’t your customer doesn’t know.
Being an entrepreneur is tough.  If you aren’t connected to what you’re doing and why you’re doing it there’s no point.
If money were no object I’d still be doing what I was doing on steroids
The queen of authenticity in knowing what you’re gonna do and what you’re not gonna do.
Selective about clients because you want someone who is as excited about their photos and visions for the photos as the photographer is.
You get to get excited about what you do in brand photos.
Find the beating heart of your business and photograph that.
Intentionally elevated authenticity
Wish that I had known to slow down a little and push more intentionally.  Don’t do what other people are doing, stay in your own lane and listen to your intuition and you’ll end up on top.
We are all trucking along
Whatever you’re doing has to be connected to your personal and professional Why
Don’t be afraid to take risks and do things unconventionally
You will only succeed by being really true to you.
Being really unapologetic
